Aileen Murphy, Affiliated Faculty, Senior Instuctor, English Department

Aileen Murphy has a Master of Fine Arts in Poetry from Colorado State University, and a Bachelor's Degree from Oklahoma State University.  She has taught at Virginia Tech since 1994.  She teaches Creative writing, Poetry, and Community Writing, and directs the Giovanni-Steger Poetry Prize for undergraduates at Virginia Tech.  She has a chapbook of poetry, There Will Be Cats.
